The similarities between
Teleclasses and Group Coaching can be summarized as follows:
- Both meet via a telephone bridge line at a pre-assigned time with numerous people on the call.
- Interaction between all members and the call leader is encouraged.
- Both utilize the telephone and therefore do no require computer skills.
The differences between
Teleclasses and Group Coaching can be summarized as follows:
- Teleclasses are one time events and are very topic specific. Group Coaching
meets once a week for a minimum of 4 sessions and the group’s topic can be less specific, but will be discussed in greater
depth and incorporate exercises to be done off the call.
- Teleclasses are divided between a topic discussion, primarily led by the class leader, and a question and answer session. Group Coaching also has a specific topic for each call’s discussion and a question
and answer time, but a significant part of the phone call is allocated to discussing the previous week’s assignments
with more interaction between group members.
- Teleclasses have less interaction between the participants than an ongoing group because in a group the participants
develop their own relationships with one another.
